SOVO Finance Personal terms
Use terms for the single-person Personal finance edition available through Microsoft Store.
Personal licence
The official Personal edition is available for purchase through Microsoft Store for one person’s personal finances. Microsoft Store shows the current price, regional availability and applicable acquisition and licence terms. Keep local backups and follow the terms supplied with your purchase. It does not include a quantitative engine, investment services, Business operations, or access to SOVO’s private development source. Acquisition does not grant permission to redistribute modified SOVO products. Share official release links.
Local records and supported use
You control your device, imported files, workspace and backups. The edition does not execute bank payments or initiate trades. Import previews and reports require your review. Keep copies before important changes, and protect confidential records with appropriate device security. Windows requires WebView2; release-specific platform requirements accompany the official package.
Responsible use and professional review
Use the product lawfully and only with records you are authorised to handle. Verify data, imports, categories, tax rates, mappings, sources, calculations, and assumptions before relying on results. Software output is not financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, a statutory filing, an audit opinion, or regulatory certification. Recorded payment or settlement activity does not transfer money or custody assets.
Ownership and third-party rights
You retain rights in your own records. SOVO’s proprietary product components, branding, and private source remain owned by their respective rights holders. Do not misrepresent the publisher, remove required attribution, bypass edition restrictions, or redistribute a modified SOVO product as your own. These restrictions do not override rights granted by applicable law or third-party open-source licences. Third-party notices included with the product remain applicable.
Availability, warranties, and mandatory rights
Except for commitments in a separate agreement and rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, the product is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation, error-free results, suitability for every purpose, or automatic compliance with a particular accounting or tax regime. Use reliable backups and review important results.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights, liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or remedies available under applicable law. These terms do not create immunity from lawful claims. Additional commercial support or service commitments require a separate agreement.
Publisher, support, and changes
Microsoft Store publisher display name: Sovo. SOVO HOLDINGS is the product brand used by Awwad Shakshak. For privacy questions, support, or a security concern, email contact@awwadshakshak.com.
Do not include passwords, bank credentials, identity documents, complete financial files, or recovery secrets in an initial support email. Describe the issue with a redacted example where possible.
Microsoft Store acquisition and services are subject to Microsoft’s applicable terms. A purchase or entitlement for another edition is not implied by these terms. Changes to future terms will be identified by an updated date and will not silently revoke rights already granted for a purchased major version.
