SOVO Finance Demo terms
Use terms for the free fictional Windows showcase and the website’s browser demonstration.
Free limited demonstration
You may use the official Demo to explore its fictional examples and limited practice area on supported devices. The Windows showcase is free and requires no product purchase, online activation, payment details, or SOVO cloud account. This grant does not include the full Personal or Business editions, access to private development source, or a production accounting system.
The browser demonstration is a separate sample. It accepts predefined fictional selections and keeps them in memory only. The Windows Demo can retain up to ten practice cashbook entries in its own local workspace. Neither is a customer-bookkeeping service or an independent approval process.
Fictional use and product boundaries
Use fictional information only. Do not enter confidential customer records or treat fictional figures as your company books. Demo practice cannot be converted into production books. The limited Windows package has no financial-file uploads, extraction engine, investment services, company-host connection, full-edition unlock, checkout, or payment service. Choosing a Business edition requires a separate agreement and installation.
Windows uses WebView2, which must be present for the desktop experience. The edition guide and contact links do not automatically send information, collect payment, or grant another product. Share official release links instead of repackaging installers.
Responsible use and professional review
Use the product lawfully and only with records you are authorised to handle. Verify data, imports, categories, tax rates, mappings, sources, calculations, and assumptions before relying on results. Software output is not financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, a statutory filing, an audit opinion, or regulatory certification. Recorded payment or settlement activity does not transfer money or custody assets.
Ownership and third-party rights
You retain rights in your own records. SOVO’s proprietary product components, branding, and private source remain owned by their respective rights holders. Do not misrepresent the publisher, remove required attribution, bypass edition restrictions, or redistribute a modified SOVO product as your own. These restrictions do not override rights granted by applicable law or third-party open-source licences. Third-party notices included with the product remain applicable.
Availability, warranties, and mandatory rights
Except for commitments in a separate agreement and rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, the product is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation, error-free results, suitability for every purpose, or automatic compliance with a particular accounting or tax regime. Use reliable backups and review important results.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights, liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or remedies available under applicable law. These terms do not create immunity from lawful claims. Additional commercial support or service commitments require a separate agreement.

Do not include passwords, bank credentials, identity documents, complete financial files, or recovery secrets in an initial support email. Describe the issue with a redacted example where possible.
Microsoft Store acquisition and services are subject to Microsoft’s applicable terms. A purchase or entitlement for another edition is not implied by these terms. Changes to future terms will be identified by an updated date and will not silently revoke rights already granted for a purchased major version.
