Do not include passwords, bank credentials, identity documents, complete financial files, or recovery secrets in an initial support email. Describe the issue with a redacted example where possible.
Windows Demo: local practice records
The Windows Demo starts a service bound to this computer’s loopback address and opens it in the desktop webview. It creates no SOVO cloud account, connects to no company host, and does not read or alter Personal or Business books. The supplied company, invoices, figures, and schedules are fictional.
If you use its practice cashbook, the app processes the date, income/expense type, amount, description, and request reference you enter, together with walkthrough progress. Those records stay in the Demo’s separate local SQLite workspace. Use fictional information only. The Demo supports no financial-file uploads, bank connections, checkout, payment execution, or full-product unlock.
The default application does not send product telemetry, behavioural analytics, or advertising identifiers to SOVO, and does not sell financial records or use them to train an external AI service. This describes SOVO’s product behaviour, not independent Microsoft, operating-system, email-provider, or customer-hosted services.
Browser Demo: temporary selections
The website demonstration uses predefined fictional examples. Selected entries and invoice progress are held in browser memory only, are not transmitted to a financial service, and are cleared by reset or reload. It provides no free-text financial entry or upload feature. Website hosting receives ordinary technical requests; the website privacy policy and cookie policy describe those separately.
Storage, reset, and diagnostics
In Windows, the default workspace is under your operating-system profile at %LOCALAPPDATA%/SOVO Finance/Store Demo/Workspace. The Windows Demo’s reset control clears practice entries and walkthrough progress in that workspace only. It does not delete Personal or Business records. Uninstall does not automatically remove retained practice files; use reset before uninstall if you want to clear the practice area.
Startup diagnostics remain local and use bounded log files. The limited Demo records technical event codes and error types rather than practice descriptions or amounts. Saving the included edition guide is a local, explicit action. Device access, backups, cloud-synced folders, and copies you create remain under your control.
Your choices and policy updates
You may use the examples without entering practice information. Control local records through the Demo reset, your device, and any copies you have made. SOVO cannot remotely retrieve or erase records it does not possess. Contact us about information you have voluntarily supplied by email and any rights available under applicable law. The product is intended for general demonstration and is not directed at children.
These policies may change when product behaviour changes. The date above identifies this version. Material changes to data use will be explained before the changed feature is enabled. Microsoft Store and operating-system services have their own terms and privacy notices.
