SOVO Finance Business terms
Licence and use terms for the Small Business, Medium Business and Corporate editions.
Edition licence and named users
A Business download provides a 30-day offline trial. After expiry, authenticated users retain reading/export and fictional demo access; activation is required for new business operations. A purchased licence grants the named customer perpetual use of its specified edition and purchased major version, subject to the signed entitlement.
Default active named-user limits are Small Business: 5; Medium Business: 50; Corporate: 250 initially, or a lower limit specified in the entitlement. Administrators count as named users; disabled accounts and isolated fictional demo accounts do not. Limits are product allowances, not performance guarantees. Corporate remains a controlled preview.
Customer host and additional services
One deployment serves one customer. Employee connections use the customer’s authoritative host. A licensed accounting firm may manage its clients’ books within its deployment and applicable client assignments. Resale, OEM sublicensing, or operating a service for unrelated customers requires a separate written agreement.
Support, hosting, and paid major-version upgrades are optional purchases. Ending support does not end the purchased version’s right to operate offline. Customer legal name, edition, user limit, purchased version, support duration, hosting scope, and any service levels belong in the signed entitlement or agreement. An enquiry alone does not create a licence or service contract.
Customer records and operational limits
The customer owns and controls its records, employee permissions, retention duties, and backup strategy. Independently review entries, source extraction, OCR, rates, mappings, forecasts, and models. Availability of OCR, encrypted exchange, and other native features depends on the supported runtime and edition. Management consolidation does not constitute statutory certification.
The product does not execute payments, custody assets, operate core banking, provide live trading, run payroll, or automatically file statutory returns. Customers must use appropriate professional review and separately authorised services where needed.
Responsible use and professional review
Use the product lawfully and only with records you are authorised to handle. Verify data, imports, categories, tax rates, mappings, sources, calculations, and assumptions before relying on results. Software output is not financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, a statutory filing, an audit opinion, or regulatory certification. Recorded payment or settlement activity does not transfer money or custody assets.
Ownership and third-party rights
You retain rights in your own records. SOVO’s proprietary product components, branding, and private source remain owned by their respective rights holders. Do not misrepresent the publisher, remove required attribution, bypass edition restrictions, or redistribute a modified SOVO product as your own. These restrictions do not override rights granted by applicable law or third-party open-source licences. Third-party notices included with the product remain applicable.
Availability, warranties, and mandatory rights
Except for commitments in a separate agreement and rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, the product is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation, error-free results, suitability for every purpose, or automatic compliance with a particular accounting or tax regime. Use reliable backups and review important results.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights, liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or remedies available under applicable law. These terms do not create immunity from lawful claims. Additional commercial support or service commitments require a separate agreement.
Publisher, support, and changes
Microsoft Store publisher display name: Sovo. SOVO HOLDINGS is the product brand used by Awwad Shakshak. For privacy questions, support, or a security concern, email contact@awwadshakshak.com.
Do not include passwords, bank credentials, identity documents, complete financial files, or recovery secrets in an initial support email. Describe the issue with a redacted example where possible.
Microsoft Store acquisition and services are subject to Microsoft’s applicable terms. A purchase or entitlement for another edition is not implied by these terms. Changes to future terms will be identified by an updated date and will not silently revoke rights already granted for a purchased major version.
